A CAT'S BEDTIME PRAYER

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray this cushy life to keep.

I pray for toys that look like mice,

... And some cushions, soft and nice.

For grocery bags where I can hide,

Just like a tiger, crouched inside !

I pray for gourmet kitty snacks,

And someone nice to scratch my back.

For window sills all warm and bright,

And shadows to explore at nite.

I pray I'll always stay real cool,

And keep the secret feline rule.

To NEVER tell the humans that,

This world is really ruled by cats

Please Stop the Killing

ATTENTION;;

Please if you have a cat and you live in Stephenville,DO NOT let your cat outside..Not even for a short period of time..

It has come to our attention that Animal Control is setting cat traps around Stephenville. He is placing tuna inside the traps to encourage the cats to enter the traps..If your cat is outside, and one of these traps are close by, your pet cat will smell the tuna and enter the trap.Once your PET CAT is trapped inside one of those horrible traps he/she is then taken to Animal Control and GASSED...

AC doesn't care if these cats have homes or not ,he WILL GAS them anyway...

So please keep your cat inside the house or in an enclosure if you let them out...NO CAT OUTSIDE IS SAFE IN STEPHENVILLE..AC DOES NOT POST PICS OF THE ANIMALS HE CATCHES...HE just traps and KILLS....

If your cat does go missing PLEASE take a pic of your cat to the Town Office immediately or your innocent cat will suffer a very slow painful death in the horrible GAS CHAMBER...

There has already been a large number of family owned cats that have been trapped and gassed here in Stephenville by Animal Control....

PLEASE KEEP YOUR INNOCENT CAT SAFE,KEEP THEM INSIDE ..The law here is the same for cats as it is for dogs..You must buy a licence for your cat and it is still against the law to let your cat roam..They will be trapped and gassed..Even with the licence your cat will be trapped and GASSED by Animal Control if roaming.

PLEASE protect your precious family pets from the horrid GAS CHAMBER...PLEASE KEEP THEM SAFE AND AWAY FROM AC...

SCAPA Brings Food to Howley Cat Colony

We drove to Howley today to deliver some supplies and food for the TNR'ed cat colony..A few of us have been collecting food and supplies for the colonies of stray cats in our area and we delivered those supplies to the caretakers of different colonies over the week-end.

These cats are really enjoying their new safe haven...This is where the kitties always hung out anyway before we did the TNR so all we did was build an enclosure around them to keep them safe from the cruel mean world
